...Music History

I have been in a wheelchair all of my life. I use my struggles to produce some the most original and creative beats out there. I started using Magix Music Maker 2005(tracks indicated by "±") in June, 2005, Sony's ACID Pro 3 (indicated by "‡") in Feb. 2005, and have used MTV's Music Generator 2 for the Playstation 2 (indicated by "†") for the past 5 years to create beats that make you want to dance, relax, think, travel, pray, and love. If I become "main-stream" as a music producer, I will either be known as BC or B. Platinum. I live by the phrase (which I created):

"Why Be Gold When You Can B. Platinum"

which means you may feel you are doing good, but there's always room for improvement.
No matter what field you practice, or what game your in, let's strive for a higher level.

BC a.k.a B. Platinum

... My work

I've played around with keyboards all of my life. About mid 2001, I discovered Music Generator 2 on PlayStation 2 and incorporated my keyboard skills into that game. (just wanted to try something new). My family loved it so I said "Hey, let's see what other people think." I loaded the songs to my PDA and let some friends hear them. The next thing I know, people are freestyle rapping off of my beats. This started the ball rolling and it hasn't stop yet. I now have 30+ original beats on hand and a few remixes of jazz and rap hits. I thought I was simply a jazz artist, but I never stay in the little "boxes" that people put me in, so, I've found that I make pretty good electronica, hip-hop, and culturally blended music.

... My musical inspirations include

My Aunt Diana (Singer/Pianist)
Nelda Washington (Singer/Pianist)
Quincy Jones (What Hasn't He Done)
Ben Tankard (Pianist)
Timberland (Producer)
Kanye West (Rapper/Producer)

Pharrell Williams(Singer?/Producer)
Phil Collins (Singer/Producer)
John Legend (Pianist/Singer)
Kirk Franklin (Producer/Choir Director)
Ronny Jordan (Jazz Guitarist)
Art of Noise (Jazz Group)

and it goes on and on
